Local business owners were invited to a private viewing of the Great Tapestry of Scotland recently, at an event organised by Energise Galashiels Trust.
Participants were able to tour the facilities after hours and hear about the plans for the new visitor attraction in terms of its role in rejuvenating the town by attracting an estimated 50,000 visitors per year.
After the private viewing and following the recent launch of the ‘Vibrant Gala Plan’, Energise Galashiels Trust also hosted a business forum to update everyone on what services and support will be available to businesses as part of the Plan.
Participants commented on how useful it was to come together as a business community, to have a conversation, and Energise Galashiels Trust looks forward to hosting more sessions like these to support the local business community.
