In September, we welcomed the new and returning students from the Heriot-Watt University School of Textiles and Design to Galashiels.
The university organised a variety of community engagement events, allowing students to get to know the town better. Activities included a charity shop trail, a free tour of the Andrew Crummie Exhibition at GTOS, lunch at Café Recharge, a walk around the town’s key shops and hotspots, and an evening at MacArts, among others.
Let’s join together in giving the students a hearty Galashiels welcome as they start another academic year!
