Laidlaw Court B&w

This modern building looks very different from the usual stone houses you’ll see around town. Laidlaw Court replaced Laidlaw and Fairgrieves’ Mill in 2010 and is the tallest block of flats in Galashiels, with balconies overlooking the Gala Water.

The building was designed by Patience and Highmore Architects and won the “Best Waterside Development of the Year” in the Scottish Homes Awards 2011.
