Gemma Burdett, a senior addiction nurse with NHS Borders, has been named winner of the Services to Medicine award at the Scottish Women’s Awards 2025. This comes just a year after her success at Scotland’s Health Awards, where she won the Reader’s Choice Award for Outstanding Contribution to the NHS.
