Art & Light: A Day of Creativity in Gala!

FREE EVENT by Transform Arts CIC

Get ready for a day of art and light in Galashiels as part of ‘Art’n About in Gala’, an exciting community event. On Saturday, 4th November, from 10 am to 2 pm, the streets of Channel Street, Galashiels, will host a variety of music and arts activities.

Discover the fascinating world of cyanotype paper, a magical medium that lets you create images with light. Borders Hearing Care invites you to join in this unique experience, and the best part—it’s absolutely free!

As the evenings grow darker, it’s the perfect time to prepare for Bonfire Night. Join our Community Arts Workshops for an unforgettable blend of art and song that will light up your soul. Plus, get hands-on with our Lantern Making workshop, using jam jars to craft enchanting lanterns that add an extra touch of magic to your evenings.

This event is part of ‘Art’n About in Gala’, a community arts programme funded by Energise Galashiels Trust, Scottish Borders Council, and South of Scotland Enterprise.
