BORDERSFEST 2023 FUNDRAISER

This is a fundraising music event with a difference for BordersFest 2023.

Music from Inverness singer songwriter Julie-Ann Neill with her band The Wispz. They are Edinburgh based and have a fantastic toe tapping Folk/Celtic/County vibe.

Folk Drama is a two-piece Americana outfit made up of Violeta Bahena from Hollywood, California and Edinburgh born award winning singer-songwriter Aaron Wright.

These guys have just finished recording in Manchester with the songwriting partnership behind the Housemartins.

London based Author David Turnbull (Tumsh), born in Galashiels and educated at Langlee Primary and Gala Academy. Not just a published writer but also a registered Lambeth tour guide. He will bring you a virtual music history tour of the London burgh of Lambeth. Featuring legends like David Bowie, The Clash, and Adele.

Local musician Craig Jeffrey is well known in the Borders and should need very little introduction. His music has been played on mainstream radio and TV, not just here but in places as far away as Australia, USA, and Canada. Gracing the jukeboxes in the Rovers Return, Woolpack and providing background music for Paul O’ Grady’s Life of Dogs. This year will see him go back into the studio at Vertical Records to record his new album and collaborate on a music project for Netflix.
