Braw Lads’ Gathering Torwoodlee

TORWOODLEE RIDE OUT

The Ride out leaves Netherdale to make it’s way to Torwoodlee to visit the Laird of Torwoodlee.
A small ceremony takes place at the Old Tower where the Braw Lad removes a Sod from the grounds and the Braw Lass takes a stone from the Tower to use at the Ceremony at the Old Town Cross on Braw Lads’ Day. Approximate timings for below:

16:45 hrs: Riders and equine transport vehicles arrive at Netherdale Car Park
17:45 hrs: Riders leave Netherdale car park
18:00 hrs: Town Centre
18:45 hrs: Torwoodlee
19:00 hrs: Leave Torwoodlee

20:00 hrs: Meet Fancy dress

21:00 hrs: Ride concludes at Netherdale Car Park
