Frankenstein Collage! Arts Workshop with Emma Whigham – Art’N About in Gala
FREE EVENT: A fantastic opportunity to get creative and a little bit freakish in time for Halloween.
Hosted by Transform Arts CIC.
We’ll be looking at photomontage and collage art. For inspiration you will get to rummage through lots of inspiring collage materials (feel free to bring your own too), and take your time to create totally unique characters and images of your own. Just like Frankenstien made his monster from different body parts, you can construct your characters from human and animal parts, or anything that takes your fancy!
Suitable for all levels of ability. The focus will be on process and fun.
All materials provided.
Teas and coffees will be available free. There will be a lunch break- you can bring your own lunch or there are shops available nearby to purchase refreshments.
Carers are welcome, only book a place for the accompanying adult only if they are also taking part in the workshop, which is welcomed, otherwise just come along to support..
All we ask is that people book into a maximum of three of our adults workshops as part of this program. this is because places are limited and we hope for as many people as possible to benefit.
Coming up we have drawing, printing, mosaic, music and film workshops as well.
The workshop is part of Art’N’About in Gala a community arts programme funded by Energise Galashiels Trust, Scottish Borders Council and South of Scotland Enterprise.
