MELYS (English translation: “Sweet”)

Lone Wolf management and Recordiau Sylem records are chuffed to little green apples to announce the return of Welsh indie pop icons, Melys.

The band are set to unleash a series of releases early in the new year with a BBC sessions album scheduled for release on St David’s day, followed by a single and an album of new material scheduled for late April.
This will be the band’s first album release since their acclaimed ‘Life’s too short’ album which was dedicated to DJ friend, John Peel, who the band played 11 sessions and outside broadcasts for.

Melys will be also back on the road in 2024 playing their own headline shows but are also very, very excited to be joining good friends, The Wedding Present as guests on their ‘Watusi’ album 30-year anniversary tour in May.
