THREEPWOOD RIDE OUT

Rideout celebrates the relationship between Galashiels and Lauder and dates back to the beginning of the Braw Lads’ Gathering. The Braw Lad leads a mounted cavalcade to Threepwood and the Lauder Cornet and his followers join those assembled for the brief ceremony.

Approximate timings for the event are listed below:

17:45 hrs: Riders proceed to Melrose Road

18:00 hrs: 1st field nr Recycling centre

18:40 hrs: Colmslie Road crossing

19:15 hrs: Arrive Threepwood

20:00 hrs: Leave Threepwood

21:30 hrs: Arrive Lauder
