Galashiels Academy is inviting the community to a special fundraising auction on Saturday 13th June, giving people the chance to own a piece of the school’s history while exploring the new campus.
The one-day event will include:
- Live memorabilia auction
- Tours of the new school building
- Viewing sessions throughout the day
- Welcome talks from the senior leadership team
Items up for auction include:
- Classroom furniture and desks
- Sports department equipment
- Science department items
- Maps, memorabilia and historic school pieces
Two free school tours will take place during the day, giving visitors the opportunity to see the new learning spaces and facilities.
Key Times:
09:30 – Viewing session opens
10:30 – Morning school tour
11:30 – Live auction begins
13:30 – Afternoon school tour

Please note: Big ticket items will be promoted in advance on the school’s official Facebook page, giving interested bidders the opportunity to register their interest and view the starting bid price before the day.
