BID for Galashiels, Energise Galashiels Trust (+ Galashiels Town Team) and Galashiels Community Council are coming together to host a volunteering event at Galashiels Rugby Club on Sunday 4th of October, from 1pm until 4pm.
The free, informal drop-in event is for anyone who wants to help and do their bit for Galashiels. Whether you’re interested in joining an existing voluntary group or have a particular skill, talent or idea you could offer, come along and find out how you can get involved.
It will also be a chance to thank the many people who already give their time to support Galashiels and to hear about the host organisations’ current activities and plans for 2027 – an especially exciting year with the Tour de France coming through the town.
Light finger food will be provided and the event is free to attend.
