Gala Rugby

Gala Rugby Football Club was formed in 1875, and play their home games at Netherdale.

In December 2017,  the club was awarded charity status and now runs under the umbrella of Gala Rugby, a registered SCIO.

Gala Rugby has players from primary school age right up to seniors, and we have recently taken major steps to provide a clear and direct pathway for our players to progress all the way through. We are incredibly proud of our ambitious approach to unifying what was once six individual clubs into one club, with youth development right at its heart.

We are very lucky to have fantastic facilities at Netherdale, which are used to host international matches.

We also have a function room which is available for hire, providing all Scottish Government guidelines are adhered to.
