Galashiels Baptist Church
There has been a Baptist church in Galashiels for over 200 years and we now meet at our building in Victoria Street. We have a service every Sunday at 10:30am where we worship God with contemporary songs and traditional hymns along with a message from the Bible. We welcome families to the service and have separate activities for children and young people including a creche for preschool children.
During the week we have a variety of activities for the local community. We offer two play sessions for toddlers and their parents or carers most weeks throughout the year, including the school holidays. We hold a weekly lunch club for the older people in our local area and there is also a craft group that meets most weeks. We also have a number of Christian meetings including a prayer night, Bible study groups, Alpha courses and discipleship workshops. Please see our website to see when these activities take place.
