There has been a recent update from BID for Galashiels, with the team welcoming a new member at the start of the month.
Claire Dalgleish has joined as part time Project Coordinator, bringing over 15 years of experience in operations and project support. Based in Galashiels, she also runs her own business, Concentrated Support, and works closely with local SMEs, including several BID levy payers, giving her a strong understanding of the local business landscape.
In her role with BID for Galashiels, Claire will support project delivery, communications, coordination, governance and member engagement, helping to keep work progressing and businesses informed. She will be available Monday to Friday for four hours each day.
BID for Galashiels was formally launched on 1 April 2025 following a positive ballot in 2024. It represents more than 300 local businesses and provides a collective voice for the town, overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of BID levy paying businesses.
