BID for Galashiels‘ Retail Resilience Pilot is now fully subscribed and underway, with a diverse group of local businesses from across the town taking part.
The programme began with an interactive workshop and has now moved on to one-to-one visits with leading retail consultant Graham Soult. Graham is carrying out individual business audits and working with each participant to develop tailored action plans, identifying practical opportunities to attract more customers, improve their offer and strengthen their business for the future.
Supporting the businesses we already have is an important part of creating a stronger, more vibrant Galashiels. Thriving local businesses bring life to the town centre, provide jobs, encourage people to shop locally and help make the town a great place to live and visit. Graham Soult is one of the UK’s leading retail consultants and a familiar face from Netflix and Channel 5 retail documentaries. Over the coming months, the pilot will not only support the participating businesses but also generate valuable insights and ideas that can be shared more widely, helping strengthen businesses across Galashiels for the future.
