As part of the Town of Culture 2028 application process, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport invited each bidding town to submit a postcard capturing the essence of their place. The Town of Culture Steering Group created a postcard celebrating the culture, creativity and stories woven into the fabric of our town.
We have also been advised that the Stage One results will now be announced later this summer. Thank you to everyone who has supported the journey so far and to those who have been following our progress and asking for updates. We’ll be sure to share the news as soon as we hear more and will keep everyone informed as the journey continues.
