The BID for Galashiels project is progressing steadily, with the ballot scheduled to open on the 9th of October. This ballot provides businesses within the designated BID Zone the opportunity to vote on establishing a Business Improvement District (BID) in Galashiels. A BID is a defined area where local businesses collaborate to implement projects and services that enhance the area, benefiting both individual businesses and the wider community.
The BID for Galashiels business plan, a comprehensive strategy aimed at driving economic growth and strengthening the town’s business community, has now been officially published and is available here. By voting in support of the BID, the Galashiels business community will play a crucial role in shaping a more prosperous future for the town, creating positive outcomes for businesses, residents, and visitors alike.
