BID For Galashiels is Galashiels’ Business Improvement District and was formally launched on 1 April 2025. BID For Galashiels Ltd is a registered, not-for-profit, limited company.
The BID Company was formed after an overwhelming positive ballot in 2024. BID For Galashiels is a strong voice for the town’s 300+ businesses.
The company is overseen by a Board of Directors who give of their time as volunteers. Each of the Directors respresents a BID Levy paying premises in the BID area.
BID For Galashiels employs one Project Manager, on part-time basis, who is tasked with delivering the projects and services within the business plan.
