- This walk will allow you to walk through Gala Policies and around the side of Gala Hill to the Roger Quinn Stone. Walking at an easy pace this stroll will allow you to emmerse yourself in nature, fresh air and natural surroundings. After taking in the stunning view of the Eildon hills from the memorial stone to poet Roger Quinn you follow the Southern Upland Way back into Galashiels.
